Not one of Bri's better ideas, driving to the coast on a sunny Friday evening! We got about 500 metres before he decided to turn out of the traffic jam and though a road closure, what the heck, j'ne comprom pas or summat like that. Anyway, within a minute we stumbled across half a dozen like minded campers in an aire we didn't know about. So we are here for the night, Bri and me basking in the sun whilst poor Rachel slaves over a chopping board.
We are off to The Menin Gate tonight, which is only about half a mile walk. At 8pm every night since WW1 they play The Last Post, it's supposed to be quite emotional.
